Supported by 26 years in the industry, Boomtown is celebrating over 10 years of working across borders with valued clients around the globe. We have always prided ourselves on our international reach and now with physical borders being closed and remote work being the only possibility, there is no better time to celebrate 10 years of global connectivity.
The current business dynamic has now, more than ever, demonstrated how insignificant location is. We have consistently achieved excellence through remote work for clients covering campaigns as far afield as Washington, London and Vietnam.
With advanced video communications such as Zoom, which gained 2.22 million users in 2020 – more users than it amassed in the entirety of 2019, we see how business is becoming more and more connected, shrinking distance and eliminating geographical barriers. Award-winning campaigns are executed without even one physical meeting taking place.
Specialising in brand design, integrated brand communications and digital services, our team has the expertise that today’s businesses need. From our offices in Port Elizabeth and Johannesburg, we have expanded over the years to create captivating campaigns for Cape Town-based client Bronx Woman, Johannesburg-based client Nestlé South Africa, and Zambian client Lafarge Zambia.
Further afield we recently worked on a digital campaign and website for the Replenish Africa Initiative in Washington DC and created all the collateral for the Hogan Lovells Africa Forum in London. Other international work includes creating an awareness campaign around rhino poaching, for the Wilderness Foundation Africa in Vietnam.
“Our proven results have always shown that location is not a restriction. The positive testimonials that we have received from our international clients is proof that excellent work can be achieved through remote work,” commented our CEO Glen Meier.
Mauricio Chavarria, the Managing Partner of Replenish Africa Initiative, said, “Our experience working with the Boomtown team has been flawless. We selected Boomtown due to its strong regional presence in Africa, proven past multi-language campaigns across multiple countries for our digital project, to position our achievements across 41 countries in Africa.”
“We’ve found in Boomtown an astoundingly creative, flexible and disciplined team. They created an efficient process to interact with our complex network, and at the same time were fun and easy to work with,” added Chavarria.
Stuart Hopwood, CM of Bronx Footwear, remarked, “Our experience dealing with Boomtown has been so easy and seamless it’s hard to believe that they are not on our doorstep as their remote location, being in Port Elizabeth, has never impacted on the awesome and clear communication channels which they expertly have put in place.”
With the increasing demand for businesses that can deliver results by working across borders, the Boomtown team looks forward to creating new partnerships here in South Africa and around the globe.
